The Hayes Clark Covered Bridge was built in 1971, as a mirror image of the Mary Ann Pyle Bridge located nearby. The Hayes Clark Bridge was built on the same site where another covered bridge previously stood, however the new span is not the same design as the old. Because the bridge is located on a private preserve, permission is needed before you can visit.
