Chester Springs, PA 19425The Larkin Covered Bridge was originally built in 1881. The site where it first stood is now at the bottom of Marsh Creek Resevoir. The bridge was moved to another area in Marsh Creek State Park when the dam to create the resevoir was built in 1972, and sat there until 2006. It was then moved several miles to a residential community and restored. While a majority of the outside structure is new, the span retains its original Burr arch and much of the support structure.
