Pool Forge Covered Bridge

Pool Forge Covered Bridge was built in 1859, and supposedly has a tie to presidential history. According to some stories, President James Buchanan met his fiance at Pool Forge. Unfortunately, she died prior to the two being married.

Previously on private land, the area around and including the bridge became part of a public park. The span is also known as Yohn's Mill and Wimer bridge.
