Tobyhanna State Park encompasses over 5,400 acres, including a 170 acre lake. Visitors can boat, fish and swim at the lake, and hike on over eight miles of trails. Gouldsboro State Park borders Tobyhanna State Park to the west, and can be reached on one of the trails. Although a very small portion of the park is in Wayne County, the entrance and majority of Tobyhanna State Park is located in Monroe County.

Please Note: A large renovation project is currently underway at Tobyhanna State Park. Swimming is currently not permitted, and beginning in July 2008, the campground will be closed. The park will remain open for day activities, including hiking, biking and boating on the lake. The project is scheduled to be completed sometime in 2009.
