Directions: From Interstate 81 South, take exit 165 and turn right onto PA Business Route 309, and travel approximately .75 of a mile. The Big Cow will be on your left.
From Interstate 81 North, take exit 165B and travel on PA Business Route 309 for approximately 1.5 miles. The Big Cow will be on your left.

While Gorman's Dairy is long gone, the iconic large bovine remains along Route 309. Locals use it as a landmark when giving directions, and thousands drive past it each day while commuting to and from work.
While the Big Cow isn't a destination worth traveling a great distance for, the oddity is worth a stop if you're going to be passing by. If you visit in the warmer months, consider stopping by the Snack Shack for an ice cream cone, located just a few buildings down along the road.
