From the columns and terra-cotta roof outside, to the marble and gold leaf accents inside, the structure epitomizes the wealth and strength of Luzerne County at it's peak near the turn of last century. Visitors choosing to view the interior will have to go through security screening.

The courthouse is another one of Wilkes-Barre's many amazing pieces of architecture, both in size and detail. Keep in mind this is a working courthouse, so please be respectful when visiting.
