A major expansion brings Pennsylvania's first casino, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, to the top of its game. Beginning on July 17, 2008, the new, permanent casino opened to the public, with over 2,000 slot machines, several eateries and shops, and more.

Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs is now a destination casino, with several options for dining, shopping, and even live entertainment. The casino is beautiful both inside and out, with attractive landscaping, and extreme attention to detail in the decor on the casino floor.

Even if you don't want to gamble, you can enjoy a meal in the food court or one of the sit down restaurants, a drink in one of the three bars, or shop at one of the upscale retailers now calling the casino home.

Parking is plentiful, and should only be an issue on the busiest of nights. The lot extends all the way up around the casino, so head that way if the lower lots are congested.
